The intelligent hvv route planner serves as your navigation system for Hamburg's public transport network. It provides real-time travel information for your chosen route, helping you make informed decisions about stopovers and alternative routes. If your bus or train is delayed, the route planner will suggest faster alternatives, ensuring that you reach your destination promptly.

Mobile Ticket Purchase:
Once you have determined your desired destination, the hvv app offers a wide selection of public transport tickets. Whether you need a single ticket or a group ticket, you can conveniently purchase them on-the-go as mobile tickets directly through the app.

7% Discounts on Mobile Tickets:
To save money on your public transport tickets, you can pay for them online via PayPal, SEPA direct debit, or credit card, securing a 7% discount compared to purchasing them from ticket machines or onboard buses. Please note that weekly and monthly tickets, as well as the Hamburg CARD, are excluded from this discount. The displayed ticket prices already include the discount.

Bookmark Destinations and Lines:
For added convenience, you can save your frequently used stops and addresses as favorites. Additionally, you can bookmark locations such as your workplace or home to navigate to them with ease from the app's home screen. This feature saves you time when planning your routes and simplifies the start of your journey.

Nearby Departures:
If you know where you're going, the hvv app provides departure information for all lines at stops in your vicinity. Simply swipe down on the app's home screen to view current departures. Having this information readily available allows you to easily determine when to board your transportation and eliminates the need for tedious connection searches.

Contact Integration and Connection Sharing:
The app seamlessly integrates with your contacts, enabling you to select a destination directly from your address book when using the route planner. You can also share your connections with others if needed or add them to your calendar for quick reference.

Travel Information and Disruption Messages:
Stay informed with the latest updates via the hvv app. Important messages regarding your favorite lines are displayed under "Messages." Additionally, you can set up alarms for specific lines, weekdays, and time periods to receive push notifications about disruptions. Whether it's construction work, closures, or cancellations, the hvv app ensures you are well-informed in every situation.
